Dance Teaching

C-I (Conditioning with Imagery)

Developed by Dr. Donna Krasnow, C-I Training is ideal for young dancers to develop
muscular strength, endurance and flexibility properly in order to prevent dance
injuries. As well, C-I Training has been shown to support advanced dancers to learn
proper alignment, turnout and the integration and connectedness of the mind and the
body, which can enhance a pre professional or professional career.

 

Throughout my dance career, I experienced various injuries which limited my
movement in dance and in everyday life. Since studying C-I Training over the past 5
years, I have noticed my movement has changed, and I am able to be more flexible
and adaptable, both in my dance class and out. I would love to work with young
dancers to help them learn these tools to dance safely and without injury, and with
older dancers so that you can keep dancing.

​I can offer private lessons in C-I Training or work with a group of dancers to teach
the method and help them to develop their instrument so that they can more freely
express their art form.
